idea for game

so far this is my idea for the story in the game.

so its set in the future, where technology allows us to travel from earth in search for a new planet to inhabit, since earth is being crowded and the natural resources have been used up.

so the earths government goes to embark on a journey to inhabit a planet that is deemed suitable to live on, they find the planet, but it is inhabited by hostile aliens so the government exterminates them in a great war to take over the planet. this is achieved within a couple of years and soon colonization on the plante is made possible.

the only problem with this planet is that the air quality is really bad, still breathable but has a odour of "death" associated with it, so citys and towns are built within domes and connected by pipes, all air tight. of course this was for only the wealthy. the poor were forced to live outside these domes with the horrible smelling air, which the government say " you will get used to".

So the government now gets the bright idea to start selling oxygen to everyone that can afford it, obviously the tentants within the domes have no problem paying it off, but the poor also want clean air to breath, so the government issues gas masks with cartridges inside of them that filter out the air to pure oxygen through the mask, these filters only last about a weeks time then must be changed( different for military issued then civil issued versions).

but not all could afford this and wanted equal living conditions for all. there were arguments and riots over the right for clean oxygen, so much so that it made the two classes very hostile.

eventually both sides became enemies and the rich were protected within their domes, while the poor were living outside the domes exploring for new land within the planet and creating their own government.

this led to the poor to start raiding the rich for their oxygen tanks and cartridges and technology. which also led to guards and martial law, which also led to casualties and bloodshed, which only led to hatred between the two sides.
